Chevron is the fifth-largest integrated energy company in the world. Headquartered in San Ramon, California, and conducting business in approximately 180 countries, this highly competitive corporation is engaged in every aspect of the oil and natural gas industry, including exploration and production; refining, marketing and transportation; chemicals manufacturing and sales; and power generation.
Many of these firms have abilities in not only crude oil, but natural gas as well. Seeing as though many oil wells have deposits of natural gas within them, this is a fitting combination. These companies are in the business of oil & gas exploration, petroleum development, production, transportation, and distribution of their petroleum products. Distribution can be accomplished through company owned service stations and/or sold to independent distributors.
